Audi UK needed a performance management solution that could support its evolving field strategy, with a growing focus on dealer groups rather than individual locations.
Historically, managing visits, KPIs and actions was complex, time-consuming and fragmented. Excel-based reporting made auditing difficult, slowed down processes and left little time for meaningful performance conversations.
Audi UK was one of the 11 brands to adopt Loop as part of a wider Volkswagen Group UK multi-brand implementation. The platform fully supported Audi’s goal of enabling group-level performance management, improving audit readiness and shifting focus from administration to root cause analysis and improvement.
Audi UK adopted Loop as a dedicated platform to manage retailer performance at scale. Unlike traditional systems, Loop’s flexibility allowed Audi to structure platform access to mirror its investor-focused (dealer group) strategy. Dashboards visibility was prioritised at the dealer group level over individual dealership level.
The brand uses its own branded version of Loop across a wide range of tools to manage performance, streamline communications and maintain visibility across its own range of KPIs and actions:
- KPI Dashboards - Customise dashboards and charts to visualise key metrics and performance
- Action Plans - Assign goals, track action completion and outcomes and get AI-driven tips
- Branded Reports - Export hierarchy-based reports that drill down from high-level insights to specific actions

Audi’s 1,144 users of Loop span HQ, field managers and 26 investors (dealer groups):
- HQ benefits from a fully auditable performance trail and consistent visibility of field team engagement, issues raised and actions resolved.
- Field managers use Loop for every visit, from short drop-ins to full reviews. They rely on it to assign actions, review past progress and track KPIs over time.
- Investors (dealer groups) receive targeted communications and actions at investor level, enabling clearer focus across multi-site operators. For greater visibility and interrogation, the data can also be viewed at dealership level.
